Fusible Link is mechanism part functions as a clamp that binds the Lid and Pressure Manway.
- Unlatch the cam arm from the top of the IBC.
2. Lift back the manway lid.
3. Take note of the gap between the male and female ends of the fusible link before removing the roll pin.
4. Using a screwdriver or a punch which is the same size of the roll pin, and a hammer, drive the roll pin out of the female cap of the fusible link.
5. Hit roll pin with until flush with the bracket before using the punch or screwdriver, it will be easier to align.
6. Open the female cap and the male end and check the condition of both.
Replace damaged components, either one or both male and female parts.
7. Install and tighten the new component with
the same gap as in step 2
8. Drive the roll pin back into place, using a rivet or something of similar size which fits inside the roll pin will make it easier to align
9. Close back the manway lid
10. Lock the cam arm back into place
